Eggs!
Here is the product of our hard work finally. We are getting about 3 eggs a day right now. The ones on the left are from the store. The ones on the right are from our unevenly laying chickens...guess they didn't take Uniformity in Laying 101...:-)

Odds and ends of Fall
Thanksgiving day...
It's been such a long time since last post, this will have to be a collection of what has happened since then. We've had good times, so much that we haven't had time to post...the holidays are going, going, gone...til next time.

Hiking and camping
We went camping this weekend (in the backyard) :-) and hiked up a local trail to the top of a fire tower. It was great fun to spend 2 whole days outdoors!
Update on garden things
Well, here is the latest pics of our garden things. We have enjoyed tomatoes and cucumbers and beans mostly with a miniature pepper now and then. The zucchini and yellow squash are all done by now. The flowers just keep popping
even though we've had a few light frosts already. Can't wait for fall though. What beautiful weather we have had with cool nights and sunny days!
